This powerful timelapse footage isn’t just a three year collection of selfies.
Jamie Raines was 18 when he began taking testosterone to transform his female form.

And to document the change properly, he decided to take a selfie every day , so he was able to capture the subtle differences in his body as he progressed through his transgender transition.
From subtle changes in his face shape, to eventual facial hair growth, Jamie’s breathtaking timelapse captures in detail how his form was completely changed by the hormones.
Now, at 21, Jamie is finally happy with the body he says he was always meant to have.
Speaking to Buzzfeed, Jamie said: “I initially intended to [take pictures] for the first year, but then I didn’t get any facial hair in my first year.”
It was during Jamie’s second year of taking the hormone that his beard began to grow.
Jamie has since posted countless videos documenting his transition on his YouTube channel, including the changes in his voice.
