Zoe Bradley – The Fashion Designer Paper Sculptor

Zoe Bradley has been known for her windows installations, sculptures and clothes, a really astonishing fashion designer, an artist who combines unique tailoring techniques and craftsmanship. Paper is her favourite material which is turned into fantastic, elegant art pieces.

Zoe Bradley’s art combines tradition, creative imagination and technical expertise. All these talents are skillfully combined to make all kinds of innovative objects. Bradley offers a twist from using the more conventional materials of fashion fabrics to her signature material luxury papers.

Her trademark being her oversized silhouettes that she creates highly crafted headpieces, dresses, set for advertizing campaigns, editorial, catwalk shows and window installations. Her work has been hosted in some of the world’s most famous department stores and storefronts  like Selfridges, Harvey Nichols, Harrods, Louis Vuitton, Tiffany & Co., Donna Karan.

After graduating from Middlesex University in 1997 Bradley went on to work with Fashion Designer Alexander McQueen. Her wooden doily punched showpieces for Spring/Summer 99 collection became iconic and time spent at McQueen reaffirmed in Bradley’s that her trademark would be to create spectacular silhouettes.  The ZB product is primarily hand crafted from her studio in London using sculpting, tailoring and origami techniques. Her signature material is luxury paper although previous projects have included creations in fabrics, wood and recycled plastics. The ZB style is clean and elegant with an acute attention to detail.
