Comedian Starts Twitter War Against Trophy Hunters For Killing Wild Animals

Comedian Ricky Gervais is not backing down after firing shots at trophy hunters for killing beautiful creatures in the wild. It all started when he shared this photo of trophy hunter Rebecca Francis posing with her latest kill.

Ricky Gervais : Well done. You managed to shoot a stationary, 14 foot peaceful creature with a high velocity rifle. Very sporting.

The tweet instantly went viral on social media.

But he had no intentions of stopping there. He shared another photo of Rebecca Francis.

”What must’ve happened to you in your life to make you want to kill a beautiful animal & then lie next to it smiling?” Ricky Gervais

Francis tried to defend herself claiming that she killed the giraffe after it was old and close to death because the locals needed food. Ricky wasn’t buying it…

“After killing that giraffe out of the kindness of her heart and feeding the poor locals she had these for pudding. ” Ricky Gervais

The trophy hunter tried to play the sex card next, claiming Ricky was “bullying” her for being a female hunter.

“This Tofu & Rice was old and sad and wanted me to kill it. Now I will eat it. ” Ricky Gervais

So he made his point very clear.

“I kill lions, giraffes & bears with guns & bows and arrows then pose grinning. Why don’t people like me? Must be because they’re sexist”

“We need to stamp out this terrible sexism in the noble sport of trophy hunting. The men & women that do it are EQUALLY vile & worthless.”

Ricky also made clear that he wasn’t attacking hunting in general. He said: “I wish people would stop confusing hunting to eat and hunting for thrills, tusks, or to hang an endangered species on the f**king wall.”

“These psycho trophy hunters always have stuff about their family being everything to them on their profiles. Elephants love their family too.”

“The trophies I’m proudest of are the memories of all those times I didn’t kill a beautiful, majestic, endangered species for no reason.”

“Imagine getting all dressed up to look good knowing you’re about to murder a baby elephant’s mother and take a selfie with it.”
